The Series 55-EX, an LED luminaire that can be used with a sight glass in hazardous areas, reducing maintenance costs and allows companies to meet green initiatives.
Before now, the only explosion-proof rated luminaires available were very low power, providing little light for viewing. Now companies who want to reduce their carbon footprint can obtain a high-power, Ex-rated LED luminaire that gives operators a well-lit glare-free view of processes through a sight glass. This luminarie is available with an aluminum housing (USL55-EX) or for harsh environments with a stainless steel housing (ESL55-Ex). Compared to traditional halogen luminaires, the new green-technology LED Lumiglas® luminaires from L.J. With these savings, the premium cost of the luminaire is recouped within 1-1/2 years (not including the savings in energy.)
