Have you ever met this similar problem before?
When you light up your LED bulb for a period of time, the warm white turn into pure white, then even turn into bule.
Why the color of LED Bulb will turn bule?Or let's simplify the question to how a LED emitting White/Warmwhite color.
There are several methods to produce a White/Warmwhite light emitting diode (LED). The most common commercially available White/Warmwhite LED is made by mixing the blue light from a GaN chip and the yellow light from the emission of a yttrium aluminum garnet cerium (YAG:Ce) yellow phosphor coating.
In short,Bule chip+yellow phosphor powder=White/Warm white. The more yellow phosphor powder, the color more "warm"(CCT will more lower.)
Low quality phosphor powder is the main cause for the color shift.
Low quality chip will also cause a big problem-- quick light degradation.
The quality of LED inside is very important for finished LED product.
Some vendors use cheap LED but low price to attract buyer's interest. And the quality problem will occur about 1-3months.
Cree(USA) and Edison(Taiwan) are very famous in LED industry. The LED quality of both brand are guarantee.
